Directions
About thirty-five miles from Orlando and twenty-five miles from Daytona, Blue Heron River Tours at Hontoon Landing is located
directly across the St. Johns River from Hontoon Island State Park.
From I-95
- Take I-95 to exit 261 (Highway 92 to Deland).
- Go west on Highway 92 for approximately 17 miles to Spring Garden Avenue (15A).
- Turn left on Spring Garden Avenue (15A) and go to the third traffic light (Hwy. 44).
- Turn Right on Highway 44 and go 3/4 of a mile.
- Take left onto Old New York Avenue (CR 4110) and go approximately 2 miles.
- Turn left onto Hontoon Road (CR4125) and go 2.2 miles.
- Turn left onto River Ridge Road. This Road dead-ends at Blue Heron River Tours at Hontoon Landing.
From I-4
- Take I-4 to Exit 118 (Hwy. 44)
- Go west on Highway 44 for approximately 8 miles to the intersection of Spring Garden Avenue (15A).
- Continue west on Highway 44 for 3/4 of a mile.
- Take left onto Old New York Avenue (CR 4110) and go approximately 2 miles.
- Turn left onto Hontoon Road (CR 4125) and go 2.2 miles.
- Turn Left onto River Ridge Road. This road dead-ends at Blue Heron River Tours at Hontoon Landing.
From I-75
- Take I-75 to Ocala (Highway 40).
- Go east on Highway 40 to Barberville.
- Turn Right on Highway 17.
- Turn right on Highway 15A (Spring Garden Road)
- Go to fifth traffic light, turn right onto Highway 44, and go approzimately 3/4 mile.
- Take left onto Old new York Avenue (CR 4110) and go approximately 2 miles.
- Turn left onto Hontoon Road (CR 4125) and go 2.2 miles.
- Turn left onto River Ridge Road. This road dead-ends at Blue heron River Tours at Hontoon Landing.
