A retired New Hampshire school teacher with an extensive theater background, Gary has worked for the past six years as a tour boat captain on the St. Johns River.  As the owner of Blue Heron River Tours, Gary is excited to share his passion for the wildlife, history and incredible beauty of the St. Johns River and the Hontoon Dead River.

Captain Ernie Brundage
US Coast Guard 100 Ton Master Captain

A Florida Native and retired architectural designer, Ernie has been on the water all his life.  He was raised on Tampa Bay, and later raised his family in Hernando and Citrus Counties.  Ernie now resides on the St. Johns River in Astor, Florida, and has worked as a fishing guide and tour boat captain for eight years.
